Adrian Plüss
Adrian Plüss’ practice focuses on national and international corporate law with its multiple links between corporate law and contract law, property law, intellectual property law and insolvency law as well as the increasingly extensive administrative and regulatory law in industries such as finance, healthcare and energy. Frequent topics include corporate governance and compliance, restructurings and corporate actions.
Adrian Plüss advises and supports companies (SMEs as well as larger companies) and entrepreneurs (also in M&A transactions and succession planning), majority and minority shareholders, in these areas, serves as an active member of the board of directors (for example in Swiss companies of international corporate groups) and can contribute valuable experience and know-how of business contexts. He also acts as an expert on corporate and group law issues and acts as counsel in litigation (in particular on corporate and merger law claims).
As a foundation board member and advisor, he also supports and advises non-profit institutions.
Adrian Plüss draws attention to the concerns of SMEs and family-owned companies in consultations on proposed legislation. As co-author of the handbook “Der Verwaltungsrat” (The Board of Directors), of various commentaries on Swiss private law, as well as in numerous articles on a wide variety of topics, Adrian Plüss has dealt with a large number of current legal issues (such as ESG) and has developed pragmatic proposals therefor.
