«Requests for information from employees’» is the subject of a new article by Philipp Meier Schleich (in German). It deals with requests for information in which, on the basis of the Data Protection Act, the employer is asked to provide the entire personnel file, all personal data or similar information. The article discusses typical real-life cases and explains the extent to which the employer may be entitled to refuse or restrict access to the information.
